Managing Companies
Use Companies to manage the restaurant companies or locations connected to your account. Each company has its own settings, vendors, delivery locations, orders, inventory, storage units, ingredients, and recipes.What is a company?
In Bestellfix, a company usually represents one restaurant, business unit, or location. A company can have its own:- Business name
- Address and contact details
- Notification email
- Delivery locations
- Vendor connections
- Orders
- Inventory data
- Storage units
- Ingredients and recipes
- Reports
View your companies
To view your companies:- Open Settings
- Go to Companies
- Review the companies connected to your account
- Company name
- Phone number
- Address
- City
- Notification email
Add a new company
If this option is available in your account, you can add another company yourself. To add a company:- Open Settings
- Go to Companies
- Click Add company or Create company
- Enter the company name
- Add optional contact and address details
- Save the company
- Phone number
- Street
- Street number
- Postal code
- City
- Notification email
Edit company details
To update company information:- Open Settings
- Go to Companies
- Select the company
- Edit the company details
- Save your changes
- Business name
- Phone number
- Address
- Website
- Notification email
Switch company context
If you manage more than one company, make sure the correct company is active before working. The selected company affects which data you see and edit. This includes:- Products
- Vendors
- Orders
- Delivery locations
- Inventory
- Storage units
- Recipes
- Reports
Company-specific data
Each company keeps its own operational data.Vendors
Vendor relationships are company-specific. One location may be connected to different suppliers than another location.Delivery locations
Delivery locations belong to a specific company. Use Delivery Locations to manage where orders should be delivered for the selected company.Orders
Orders are linked to the company that placed them. Order history, drafts, scheduled orders, and archived orders are company-specific.Inventory
Inventory data is company-specific. This includes:- Ingredients
- Storage units
- Product mappings
- Recipes
- Stock movements
- Stock counts
- Waste
- Transfers
- Inventory alerts
- Reorder suggestions
Common workflows
Add another restaurant location
- Open Settings
- Go to Companies
- Create a new company
- Add delivery locations
- Connect or manage vendors
- Set up inventory and storage units if needed
Update company contact details
- Open Settings
- Go to Companies
- Select the company
- Update address, phone number, or notification email
- Save the changes
Work with multiple locations
- Select the correct company
- Place orders or manage inventory for that company
- Switch to the next company when needed
- Repeat the process for each location

- Add city or location details if you manage multiple sites
- Keep company addresses up to date

- Check the active company before placing orders

Troubleshooting
Company is missing
Check that:- You are logged into the correct account
- The company was created under your user account
- You have permission to access the company
Cannot create a company
Check that:- A company name was entered
- The company name is not already used under your account
- All required fields are filled in
Wrong data is showing
Check that:- The correct company is selected
- You are not viewing another location
- You switched company context before working
Company changes do not save
Check that:- Required fields are filled in
- The notification email is valid if required
- You have permission to edit the company
