Delivery Locations

Use Delivery Locations to manage the addresses where vendors should deliver your orders. Delivery locations are company-specific. If you manage more than one company or restaurant location, make sure the correct company is selected before adding or editing delivery addresses.

What is a delivery location?

A delivery location is a saved address used during checkout. You can use delivery locations for:
  • Restaurant addresses
  • Kitchens
  • Storage rooms
  • Central warehouses
  • Catering locations
  • Other receiving points
When you place an order, you select one of your saved delivery locations. The selected address is included with the order.

View delivery locations

To view your delivery locations:
  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Delivery Locations
  3. Review the saved delivery locations for the selected company
Each location may include:
  • Location name
  • Street and number
  • Postal code
  • City
  • Customer number, if used
  • Additional delivery details, if available

Add a delivery location

To add a new delivery location:
  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Delivery Locations
  3. Click Add delivery location or the + button
  4. Enter the location details
  5. Save the location
Common fields include:
  • Name: Internal name for the location
  • Street
  • Street number
  • Postal code
  • City
  • Customer number: Optional customer or store number used by suppliers
  • Additional details: Optional delivery instructions
Use a clear name so your team can easily select the correct location during checkout. Good examples:
  • Main Restaurant
  • Bar Storage
  • Central Kitchen
  • Catering Warehouse
  • Location Berlin Mitte

Edit a delivery location

To update a delivery location:
  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Delivery Locations
  3. Find the location
  4. Click Edit
  5. Update the details
  6. Save your changes
Changes apply to future orders. Existing orders are not changed retroactively.

Delete a delivery location

To remove a delivery location:
  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Delivery Locations
  3. Find the location
  4. Click Delete
  5. Confirm the deletion
Deleted delivery locations are no longer available for new orders. Existing orders that already used the location remain unchanged.

Use delivery locations in orders

When placing an order:
  1. Add products to your basket
  2. Continue to checkout
  3. Select the delivery location
  4. Submit, save, or schedule the order
The delivery location is saved with the order and shown in the order details.

Delivery date and delivery location

Delivery locations define where an order should be delivered. Delivery dates define when the delivery is expected or received. Depending on your workflow, an order may include:
  • Estimated delivery date
  • Actual delivery date
  • Selected delivery location
The actual delivery date can be updated later when receiving or reviewing an order.

Company-specific locations

Delivery locations belong to a specific company. If you manage multiple companies:
  1. Select the correct company
  2. Open Delivery Locations
  3. Add or edit locations for that company only
A delivery location from one company is not automatically available in another company.

Inventory connection

Delivery locations can also be relevant for inventory workflows. For example, a storage unit may be connected to one or more delivery locations. This helps connect received orders with the correct storage or inventory process. Use clear delivery location names when you also work with inventory, storage units, or goods receiving.

Best practices

  • Use clear names for each location
  • Include complete address details
  • Add customer numbers if suppliers use them
  • Keep delivery instructions short and useful
  • Remove old locations that are no longer used
  • Check the active company before adding locations
  • Use the same naming style across all locations

  • Main Restaurant

Multi-location restaurant group

  • Location Hamburg
  • Location Berlin
  • Central Kitchen

Catering operation

  • Main Kitchen
  • Event Warehouse
  • Temporary Event Site

Troubleshooting

Location does not appear during checkout

Check that:
  • The location was saved
  • You are using the correct company
  • The location was not deleted
  • The order page was refreshed after creating the location

Cannot add a location

Check that:
  • Required fields are filled in
  • You are logged in
  • You are editing a company you have access to
  • The address fields are valid

Vendor receives the wrong address

Check that:
  • The correct delivery location was selected at checkout
  • The delivery location details are up to date
  • The correct company was active when the order was placed

Delivery location changes do not save

Check that:
  • You have permission to edit the company
  • Required fields are not empty
  • The page was not opened for a different company
Try refreshing the page if the issue continues.
