Account

Use the Account page to manage your personal login details and basic account preferences. Account settings belong to your user login. Company settings, delivery locations, organization members, vendors, and inventory settings are managed in their own settings pages.

Update your profile

Edit your first name, last name, and email address.

Change your password

Update your password while staying signed in.

Choose your language

Select the language used in the dashboard and emails.

What you can manage

On the Account page, you can manage:
  • Profile information
  • Password
  • Platform language
  • Order attachment format, if you are allowed to manage company defaults
Password reset and email verification are also account-related, but they happen outside the Account page during login, registration, or account setup.

Access Account settings

To open Account settings:

Go to Settings.

Select Account.

Review your account cards

Use the available cards to update profile, password, language, or company-level order attachment format.

Account page layout

The Account page is arranged as cards.

If your account is still loading, Mathership shows a loading spinner until your account details are available.

Profile

The Profile card contains your personal account details. It shows:

The profile card is for your user account. It does not manage company contact details.
Company details such as business name, business address, phone number, notification email, and billing-related information are managed in company or organization settings.

Update your profile

Open Account

Go to SettingsAccount.

Edit Profile

In the Profile card, update your first name, last name, or email address.

Save changes

Click Save changes.

Check confirmation

Mathership shows Saved. when the update succeeds.
The Save changes button is only active after you change at least one field. If the email address is invalid or already used by another user, Mathership shows an error message.

Email address

Your email address is used for:
  • Login
  • Account-related messages
  • Password reset emails
  • Email verification
  • Platform communication connected to your user account
If you change your email address, use the new email address the next time you log in.

Password

Use the Password card to change your password from inside Mathership. The card contains:

The new password must be at least 8 characters. Each password field has a show/hide button so you can check what you entered.

Change your password

Open Account

Go to SettingsAccount.

Enter your current password

In the Password card, enter your current password.

Enter a new password

Enter a new password with at least 8 characters.

Confirm the new password

Re-enter the same new password.

Update password

Click Update password.
After saving, Mathership shows Password updated successfully. You stay signed in after changing your password.
The password cannot be updated if the current password is missing, the new password is shorter than 8 characters, or the confirmation does not match.

Password reset

If you cannot log in, use the password reset option on the login page. The system sends a password reset email to your account email address.

Open the login page

Go to the Mathership login page.

Start password reset

Click Forgot password or Reset password.

Enter your email address

Enter the email address connected to your account.

Open the reset email

Use the reset link in the email.

Set a new password

Enter and save your new password.
If the reset link is expired or invalid, request a new password reset email.

Language

Use the Language card to set your preferred platform language. The selected language affects:
  • Dashboard text
  • Interface messages
  • Emails you receive
  • Password reset emails
  • Verification emails
  • Order-related communication where language preferences are used

Change language

Open Account

Go to SettingsAccount.

Open Language

Find the Language card.

Select a language

Choose your preferred language from the dropdown.
The change is saved immediately. If saving fails, Mathership restores the previous language selection.

Order attachment format

The Order attachment format card controls the file format attached to orders sent to vendors from the selected company. This is a company-level default, not only a personal preference. The card is only visible if you are allowed to manage company defaults, such as when you are an owner or admin.

Open Account

Go to SettingsAccount.

Find Order attachment format

The card is shown only if your access level allows it.

Choose PDF or CSV

Select the desired attachment format.

Check confirmation

Mathership shows Saved. when the update succeeds.
If you do not see this card, your account probably does not have owner or admin access for the selected company.

Email verification

After registration, you may need to verify your email address. Mathership sends a verification email with a verification link.

Open the verification email

Find the verification email sent by Mathership.

Click the verification link

Open the link while it is still valid.

Log in

After verification, log in with your email and password.
If your account is not activated, login may be blocked until the email address is verified.

Account setup from invitation

If another company or vendor invites you, you may receive an account setup or password setup email. Use the link in the email to set your password and activate access. The link must be valid when you use it. If it has expired, ask the inviting organization or vendor to send a new invitation or setup email.

Account access

Your account role and company access determine which areas you can use. Common account roles include:

Within a customer organization, owners, admins, and members may have different access rights. Some settings pages and cards only appear when your account has the required access.

Common problems

The Save changes button only becomes active after you change your first name, last name, or email address.
Check that the email address is valid and not already used by another account.
Check that your current password is correct, the new password has at least 8 characters, and the confirmation matches.
Re-enter the new password and confirmation password.The Update password button remains disabled until both values match.
If the language update fails, Mathership restores the previous language selection.Try again, or refresh the page and repeat the change.
The card is only shown to users who can manage company defaults, such as owners or admins.
Check whether your email address still needs to be verified.Open the verification email and click the verification link.
