Order History

The order history shows orders created by your restaurant. Depending on where you open the history, you can view either:
  • Orders for a selected vendor
  • Orders across your restaurant company
If you manage multiple companies or locations, make sure the correct company is selected before opening the order history.

Accessing order history

To view orders for a selected vendor:
  1. Go to your restaurant dashboard
  2. Select a vendor
  3. Open History
  4. Review the orders placed with that vendor

What the order history shows

The order history displays orders linked to the selected restaurant company. Orders are usually shown with the newest orders first. Archived orders are not shown in the order history. Depending on the order data, each entry may include:
  • Order number
  • Order date
  • Delivery location
  • Vendor or vendor contact
  • Order status
  • Email status
  • Order summary
  • Estimated delivery date
  • Delivery date, if available
Draft and scheduled orders may also appear in the order history until they are sent, changed, or archived.

Searching order history

You can search the order history by:
  • Order number
  • Vendor contact name
  • Delivery location name
Use search to quickly find a specific order.

Pagination

Order history is loaded in pages. This keeps the order history fast, even if your restaurant has many orders. The system keeps track of:
  • Current page
  • Page size
  • Total number of orders
  • Total number of pages

View order details

Click an order to open the full order details. The order detail view shows the information saved with the order, including:
  • Ordered products
  • Quantities
  • Product information
  • Delivery location
  • Order message, if one was added
  • Order status
  • Email status
  • Order date
  • Estimated delivery date
  • Delivery date, if available

Download order PDF

Orders can be downloaded as a PDF. The PDF contains the saved order information and can be used for internal review, filing, or communication with the vendor.

Order status

Order statuses are managed during order processing. For vendor-linked orders, the vendor can update the order status. Restaurants can view the current status of an order in the order history and order detail view.

Draft and scheduled orders

Draft and scheduled orders can appear in the order history. Depending on the order status, you may be able to:
  • Edit a draft or scheduled order
  • Change the scheduled sending time
  • Send the order immediately
Only draft and scheduled orders can be edited before sending.

Archived orders

Archived orders are hidden from the regular order history. Archiving does not necessarily delete the order permanently, but removes it from the normal order history view.

Multi-location order history

If you manage multiple restaurant companies or locations, order history is linked to the selected company. To view orders for another company:
  1. Go to SettingsCompanies
  2. Switch to the correct company
  3. Open the order history again

Common uses

Use order history to:
  • Check what was ordered previously
  • Review quantities from past orders
  • Find orders by order number
  • Check the delivery location used for an order
  • Review the current order status
  • Review draft or scheduled orders
  • Download an order as PDF
  • Reference a previous order when contacting a vendor
