# Recent Customers

> Review the most recently registered or connected customers for a vendor company

# Recent Customers

The recent customers report helps vendors quickly see newly added or recently registered customer companies.

This is useful for checking new customer activity, following up with new accounts, and confirming that customer setup was completed correctly.

## What are recent customers?

Recent customers are customer companies that were recently registered or connected to a vendor company.

The report shows a short list of the latest customers for the selected vendor company.

## Who can access recent customers?

Recent customers are available to vendor users.

A vendor can only view recent customers for their own vendor company.

  Vendors cannot view recent customers for another vendor company.

## What the report shows

The recent customers report can include customer company information such as:

| Field            | Meaning                                         |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Customer company | Name of the customer company                    |
| Email            | Customer account email or notification email    |
| Phone number     | Customer phone number, if available             |
| Address          | Customer address, if available                  |
| Created at       | Date when the customer company was created      |
| Updated at       | Date when the customer company was last updated |

The exact fields shown can depend on the user interface and customer company configuration.

## Number of customers shown

The report is designed as a short dashboard-style overview.

It can show the latest 10 customers for a vendor company.

## Typical use cases

Use recent customers to:

* Check newly added customers
* Confirm that a customer was created successfully
* Follow up with new customer accounts
* Review recent customer onboarding activity
* Quickly access customer details after setup

## Accessing recent customers

To access recent customers:

1. Go to **Vendors**
2. Open your vendor company
3. Go to **Reports**
4. Open **Recent Customers**

Depending on the interface, recent customers may also appear on a vendor dashboard.

Use recent customers for quick review. Use customer management when you need to change customer details, customer numbers, delivery locations, or relationships.

## Best practices

### Check recent customers after onboarding

After adding or inviting customers, review the recent customers report to confirm that the customers appear correctly.

### Follow up with new customers

Use the report to identify customers who may need setup help or onboarding support.

### Keep customer details clean

Accurate customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses make the report more useful.

### Use customer details for deeper review

If you need more information, open the customer details page from the customer management section.

## Common problems

### Customer does not appear

Check that:

* The customer was created or connected successfully
* The customer belongs to the correct vendor company
* You opened the correct vendor company
* You are logged in as the correct vendor user

### Vendor cannot access the report

Check that:

* The user is logged in
* The user has the vendor role
* The vendor company belongs to the logged-in user

### Only a few customers are shown

This is expected. The report is designed to show recent customers, not every customer.
